Border agents arrested at least 17 sex criminals at the southwest border in April, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported, as rapists, child molesters, and other criminals continued their merry parade into the country. Meanwhile, Sleepy Joe fretted about “systemic racism” and “white supremacy.”
The latest haul of sexual predators, most previously deported, nearly tops that of March 18 and suggests that criminals are a large part of the illegal-alien Biden Rush to the border. Even worse, the numbers suggest these perps don’t fear capture even though re-entering the country as a convicted felon is a serious crime.
That’s likely because the illegals have a good chance of slipping by agents occupied with babysitting the “migrants” they do apprehend. Last month, that total soared to 170,000, a 70 percent increase over February. CBP will release April’s figure sometime soon.
Felons Flee Mexico
On April 28, Agents in Yuma arrested a previously deported Mexican, Mario Roberto Pacheco, “an aggravated felon with a battery conviction for a sex offense against a child” in Florida. The 67 year old also has a cocaine possession conviction.
Also on April 28, agents in the Del Rio Border Sector arrested an illegal Honduran who had a conviction for sex assault in Phoenix, Arizona, CBP reported. On April 27 and 23, they cuffed two Mexican illegals. The first, apprehended near Brackettville, had a conviction for sex assault in Tarrant County. The other was convicted of aggravated sex assault in San Antonio.
On April 27, agents in Tornillo, Texas, nabbed a 74-year-old “lawful permanent resident of the “United States” with an active warrant from the El Paso Sheriff’s Department for “multiple counts of Sexual Assault-Indecency with a Child, Sexual Abuse of a Child-Continuous abuse.” He also murdered someone in Mexico in 2008.
Same day, CBP reported, agents at the Pharr International Bridge arrested Jaime Javier Ruelas Mireles, a 57-year-old Mexican with a warrant for “two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14.” He molested the kid in 2016, cops allege.
Continuing the trend of arresting oldsters that day, agents cuffed 58-year-old Jorge Perez-Diaz, a molester who was convicted of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child and deported after prison time in Idaho.
In Freer, Texas, on April 21, agents caught previously deported Jasiel Olvera-Olguin, a 34-year-old Mexican. He was convicted of third-degree sexual abuse in 2004 in Iowa.
Agents working in Donna, Texas, apprehended a Mexican molester on April 19. Adrian Munoz-Zamarripa was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child, then deported after five years in prison.
On April 14, agents working with local deputies in Santa Cruz, Arizona, caught an illegal alien suspected of raping an illegal woman. Two days later, agents in Penitas, Texas, caught Pedro Coronado Jr., a molester of unreported origin with a conviction for felony indecency with a child.
The same day, agents arrested another sex criminal near Calexio, California, CBP reported. The Mexican man had a conviction in 2015 for criminal sexual assault in Illinois.
On April 9, agents arrested a Salvadoran Nelson Guzman-Gomez, near Brownsville, Texas. Yet another child molester, he was convicted in Harris County for aggravated sexual assault with a child under 14 years old. Later that day, agents working near Hidalgo, CBP reported, cuffed a Honduran illegal who was convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in New York.
Next day, agents arrested an illegal near Falfurrias who had a conviction in New Jersey for first-degree aggravated sex assault.
On April 5, agents in the Del Rio Sector apprehended 44-year-old Mexican Rafael Garcia-Nieto. He was convicted of “sex penetration of a child and lewd and lascivious acts with a child” under 14 and deported in 2007 after serving three years in the slammer.
Also on April 5, agents in the El Centro, California Sector arrested a 46-year-old Mexican rapist, name unreleased, near Calexico Port of Entry. In addition to the rape, he was convicted of sodomy, oral copulation with someone under 18 years old. After prison time, authorities deported him in 2014.
Killers Caught, Too
Agents were also busy catching other dangerous illegals.
On April 21, Duval County sheriff’s deputies arrested and turned over to CBP previously deported Raul Ruela-Gonzalez, a 69-year-old Mexican who was convicted of manslaughter in 1988 in Detroit, Michigan.
South of McAllen, Texas, on April 19, agents caught a previously deported Honduran thug traveling with a group of seven illegals. He was convicted of second-degree attempted murder.
On April 14, agents at the Eagle Pass border station bagged an illegal Honduran, Luis Alonso Godines-Maldonado, 49, yet another previously-deported killer. Convicted of murder in 2002, he “most recently removed from the United States in 2017.”
Agents at the Weslaco Border Station caught a Mexican murderer on April 11, CBP reported. Deported last year, he committed the crime less than six months after his release for assault.
On April 2 in Dulzura, California, agents cuffed a previously deported, 45-year-old Mexican who was convicted of second-degree murder in California in 2003.
The agency reported two alarming statistics relative to the Biden Rush. Agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector have arrested 1,625 illegal-alien criminals since October 1, the beginning of fiscal 2021, 380 percent increase over last year’s 338 by this same time.
Del Rio Sector agents have arrested 608, a 236 percent increase over last year.
As of last month, as The New American reported, border agents had apprehended more than 5,000 illegal-alien criminals since the beginning of fiscal 2021.
